What are side effects from using this medication? Will it kill tube worms? Heard a reference to alot of bubbles, not sure what that is in reference too

For some reason Prazipro causes an exhuberant amount of micro bubbles in the water when added. Picture letting your skimmer dump directly into your display.... Only worse. As far as side effects go, I used it in my display with inverts and a clam and everyone was fine after the treatment.

Prazi-Pro killed some of my hitch hiker fan worms, as well as my Coco worms. However, my clams and anenome survived. I kept my skimmer pump on, but removed the collection cup to allow oxygenation of the water. Therefore, I had some microbubbles, but nothing major.

Is the general school of thought is to treat wrasses (leopard) on day 1 regardless? I have a bipart coming in on fri

yes to treating wrasses with prazipro, not necessary on day 1. You would need to allow a few days for the wrasse to settle in, preferably in a QT before you administrate prazipro. Wrasses are notoriously for carrying internal parasites/worms. Prazipro hopefully can deal with those parasites/worms.

I'd recommend reading through the leopard wrasse primer. It's full of a lot of good information and answers this question directly. The experts in there, including Steve Norvich, say they skipped QT with leopard wrasses and put them straight in the display and treated with prazi pro a few days later.
