Yes it is but will kill worms.

Hikari does not recommend you use it in a reef tank. It can/will kill worms which may cause an ammonia spike. But a lot of people have used it in their reef tank with success.

So for those have dosed there display any recommendations as for I just picked up a bottle to dose my 180. Not to worried about worms as for its a rather new setup.

I think my yellow tang has flukes. I want to start this today.

Your experience may differ, but I've used it in my display before and did not see any evidence of dead bristles. Fan worms may be different.
