prep for new room

what do I need to do to prep walls ceiling and floor in the new fish room. I have the regular living room with carpet, drywall, wallpaper, and windows?
What do I need to do for the humidity and occasional water spills?

i just finished my fish room. i put the green sheetrock witch is water resistent. i then put some kilz primer on the walls. it is also water resistent. the paint i used is also water resistent. it is the same stuff used in bathrooms.as for the floor i ripped up the carpet to find some old laminate tileing and plan to replace in the future with porceline tile. i think that in your case the wallpaper may not last long.
