DMBillies at MTRC forum posted the following useful advise. I am posting the link just in case for those who are new to frag swaps:

If you are going to buy corals, it is advisable to not only take a cooler and some heat packs like hand warmer thinggies but also to get some coral dip materials.

Be sure to set up a make shift quarantine tank. You can use a 5 gallon bucket with a small powerhead and a heater or a few jars that you can place under a lamp for a short time for observation. We have seen red bugs in the past. I have not heard about coral eating flatworms and snails among NARC members, but I know that two or three people in MTRC and ETRC had to fight acro eating flatworms in the past.

You can dip zoanthids and palythoa in fresh water for 5 to 10 minutes to kill zoa eating nudi. You need Interceptor (dog dewormer drug) to get rid of red bugs on acros. As for monti eating nudi and acro eating flatworms, I don't think there was a sure fire way to treat them without doing some damage in the process. It is best to observe corals for awhile to find undesirable hitch-hikers. Once you have them, it's hard to get rid of most of them out of your display tank. The only pest that we can do an in-tank treatment in our reef tank, AFIK, is redbug on acros.
