Preperation for a wavebox

I have a 90 Gall reef tank with 1 factory overflow in the corner. Im purchasing a tunze wavebox in a couple of weeks and i was wondering what kind of preperations, if any, there are for me to do till then. I dont know if a wavebox will be too much for the overflow or if i have to mod the water level. I don know if this helps anyone but my water level in the display is toward the top of the slits of the overflow, but not over them.

Also, the best place for the wave box for viewing purposes is on the same side of the over flow. should it be on the opposite side?

Any advice from someone knowledgeable of waveboxes is greatfull. Thanks.

ive never had one but from tanks ive seen with them you will def have to mod your overflow to lower the water level to account for the wave

Thanks grant...

It is the 6212... the main reason i want that one is because i do plan on upgrading to a 125 in the near future. According to its rating, the minimum is 52 gall.

I would just keep an eye on the seals of the tank. Thats basically the same setup I have on my 210 and I get a 2 inch wave and its not even running at 100%
