I just got a nice one from Foster and Smiths. They list it as from Africa (Thanks) they also list the same size from Indo-Pacific for $10.00 Dollars less. I just wonderd if there was a differance. I orderd the one from africa because I wanted a medium sized fish and they only had that size from Africa in stock.
Red Sea fish are usually more harder to get and therefore more expensive. I don't know why it's harder to get but I think it has something to do with the war.

It has more to do with local collection laws and what methods they use to catch fish in that area. Some places are notoriuos for using cyanide to catch fish which can cause early death these fish generally will be cheaper
indo pacific collection can't be regulated as easily as the red sea. Red sea you are guarenteed to get a net caught fish or fence caught. Indo, it is a toss up on how the fish was collected. Plus indo fish are dirt cheap anyway.
