price on coral question

guy wants $170 for both of these. good price or bad? the goniopora is about 5 inches in length and the welso i think is 4.5 in length thoughts? hes had both for about 2 weeks and the color hasnt really changed. the goniopora is slightly less bright. but other than seems good.

I don't think the price is too bad... It's all about what you're willing to pay. Personally I think both are very nice looking corals

I'm sure you have read up and I know goniopora doesn't have the best reputation when it comes to thriving in home aquariums but it does look like a nice piece. The Wells(trachy radiata) has amazing coloring on it, I believe it would be considered a red radiata. If 170$ is the final price I would pay for them both and think it's a decent deal. Hope that helps!

Side Note: I've been looking for a nice Radiata like that too!

yeah i read up on the goniopora that was a concern of mine. Basically I would be getting the trach for 130 and the goniopora for 40 which i thought was ok. might be able to get the price down still to help with the gas. we'll see. thanks for the feedback guys. and mike he has 2 others that are similar to that one ill call and ask him for pics and send em to you. if you want, if I get these i can pick one up for you. Hes on the Pennsylvania/NY border on lake Erie.

Nice stuff man! I'm trying to find where I read it, but I thought I saw that the red gon. fares better than the normal green. I have no idea if it's true, and I'm still looking for that source. My wife really wants one of those red ones. I say go 4 it!!!

Hey. Thanks for the offer but we live another 2 1/2 hours apart so that would be too much of a haul...lol. I'm hoping I can get ABC Reefs to find a good one for me to my new obsession of Trachy's.
