Anyone know the price of this ginopora bright green with blue center. uploadfromtaptalk1446137806541.jpg

I dont see any connective tissue between the polyps, looks like bare skeleton, also the polyps should be extended. even at $13 id stay away

I had just added them to the tank like 30 seconds prior to the picture. And about the tissue that I have no idea what to look for kinda deal lol.

I'm starting to think mine is not a ginopora I can't find the colors of mine under that name on the net . And the polyp extension is a little better and I see the skin your talking about. On the edges I can see the skin and the skeleton under it.

uploadfromtaptalk1446217400805.jpgso it is one one now that I see the polyps but I can't find one with a blue center lol . Looking any better ?

it looks really similar to an alveopora, which have 12 petals, but i think its a goniopora, which have 24 petals

Thanks for all the little details. It is more than 12 pedals for sure. Now I'll let it settle some more and wait for the super slow growth.

Slow growth on a coral like that is good those tentacles are super charged weapons to any other corals around them

they pretty much can kill anything they touch. Slow growers indeed. I have a nonaquacultured red one that ive had good luck with so far thats been growing for about a few months now and it just finally started to encrust onto the frag disc that its attached to. Ill post pics tomorrow.

Thanks for the luck I saw it and I took a chance because it was with lights off and polyps not extended. Once I got it home it was love at first sight. The color is something I was looking for a long time.
