Priority Concerns for Zoa Care?

I was thinking today about all the different important parts of caring for the zoanthids in my reef tank. Since this is such an expensive hobby, I am curious to see what priorities for spending other reefers have.

In order of importance, which is more important to you in terms of zoa health: lights, RO/DI, flow equipment, calcium reactors, general chemicals, special salts, etc?

What trade offs have you guys made in terms of priorities that have worked out the best for your zoas in terms of growth and color?

If I were to number them from 1 to 5, 5 being least
lights 1, ro/di 3 to 4, flow equipment 4, chemicals 4, CA reactor 5, good salt 1 to 2.
Each morph is different and requires different conditions-but this is what works for me and you just need to experiment.JMHO and Good luck!

salinity, chemicals (iodide)<in the salt water naturaly good addy though. , flow/lighting, ro/calcium reactor.
from most important to least.

Good Lighting(plus keep bulbs changed on schedule), Flow, and proper Alkalinity are the top 3 in my Book and all are very important for both short term and long term health. Quality water and salt mix is also a must and will really make an impact in the long term heath of your zoanthids. If you have quality salt/water and do regular water changes, additives are not needed other than something to keep ALK and Calcium in line, but more importantly ALK. I just keep a constant Kalkwasser drip going equal to my evaporation rate, and have not had any issues. I try to keep my tanks simple, and most importantly stable. Also, don't forget to inspect and quarantine all new colonies and frags for pests when possible. Good luck
