Pro and con to AIO

So. Trying to get back into the hobby. Deciding on a tank.
Must be 36 inch or less.
Have looked at tanks with sumps and AIO.
Need something that is quiet.

Suggestions?

A couple of years ago I decided to start a 2nd tank (115 gal mixed was first) to have something smaller in my office, and most importantly "œeasy".
I got a deal on a IM Nuvo 30L AIO with the matching stand. I replaced the stock pump with a DC Mighty Jet which is silent. Maintenance is easy, and looks nice. It is exactly 36" wide. The AIO makes things very simple, and to me, worth the loss of some real estate in the tank. With a descent light, I have softies, LPS, a few SPS, small fish and inverts, all doing quite well.
My opinion is that a well designed AIO like this one works great!

BRS has some good information on ultra low maintenance tanks, and the AIO's did really well for them. You could check it out on BRSTV...

I have the fluval 13.5 evo (AIO) and one of the biggest pros for me is the fact that it's a compact system. Another pro is the fact that everything looks "cleaner" to me without having to manipulate wires and pipes. The downside is that you're limited to the space of the built-in sump so you won't be able to fit large devices in there.
