Problem birdsnest

Just got this birdsnest today but there is a dead part around the bottom area of the colony(the area in the red circle), is it gonna spread it and effect the others or its ok?

looks like its been dead for a while. Birdsnest will shade out their base and cause bleaching/death

It looks like too little flow/light is getting to that area. If it was all white i'd say it may spread but that just looks good old fashioned dead to me.

Ya is not white, is just dead and i can see some coralline algae on it.

Leave it, its normal for birdsnest to do so.

Very normal, it actually looks pretty healthy, you should be good to go.
