Problem with leather toadstool

I purchased a frag 2-3 weeks ago and it was doing fine until a couple of days ago. Now it does not extend at all. Nothing in the tank has changed. The chemistry is fine, albeit a slight amount of Nitrate which I have always had. The tank is only a couple months old, I have lots of green mushrooms that are thriving and some other soft frags that I purchased at the same time that are doing well. Any thoughts?

leathers will close up for a while sometimes, i had a devils hand close up for about a month one time now its open and looking good. Some Leathers also like moderate flow.

Toadstool Leathers like moderate flow & lighting. I think even moderate to higher flow on Toadstools. I agree with above, they close up times usually when in growing stage then will open bigger. If it looks healthy other than polyps not extending, just give it a little time. I wouldn't keep moving it around, just find a place where you want it and leave it alone while it adapts. Also, what kind of lighting do you have. If PC's, mid to high in tank. If T5's or Halides, lower tank depth placement is fine.

T5's and high in the tank, maybe I should move it lower. In fact I will move it lower.
Thanks

I have T5's and have a toadstool. It is slightly above middle of tank & is doing well. It seems good flow helps with polyps extending, also.
