This was answered above already - but Yes, we include the Firmware files in the GCC versions.
This way you'll always have the latest of both versions, and never run into an issue where you may have firmware support for a feature, but not the GCC way to configure it

I'm all set. I actually like this process a lot better. I used to dredge firmware updates on the Profilux 3EX. It crashes midway and I have to pull my very old laptop that takes 15mins to boot and fuse flash software to flash the memory and write in the new firmware code.
This is the first time I updated the firmware without having that issue.
