proper feeding: Sun corals and Dendro

Got my first sun and dendro but not new to feeding corals. Just one simple question, do all the polyps need to be fed to stay healthy and grow, or feeding just a few is sufficient?

i try to get over half of em, i dont go out of my way to get them all. just vary up which ones get fed imo

It's important that they all get fed but not necessary that they all do, every time; especially at the expense of water quality. I have some huge colonies of them and what I do, since some heads are always easier to hit, than others, is turn them every couple of weeks. The results are pretty apparent since all the heads, except for the new ones, are virtually identical in size
