Protein SKimmer Advice

ANyone have suggestions on protein skimmers? I have a 220 Tank with about 300 gallons total. I also have an apex so not sure if it is worth it to integrate it with that also. any suggestions or comments would be appreciated also if anyone has something for sale i Might be interested.

You can't go wrong with a Reef Octopus. For the money, they perform well. I wouldn't recommend any of the "space saver" models though, as they are a pain to maintain / clean.

For the price, I've been very happy with the Coral Box skimmers that Reef Breeders sell. The Cloud 9 would be on the small size for your tank though.

I ran a Reefoctopus external on my 220 display 400 system. I had zero problems and it was easy to maintain. I did plumb a waste container to it which cut down on pulling the cup as often and less nasty stuff spilled
