Protein skimmer in fluval edge.

I was wondering if anyone has ideas for a protein skimmer for a fluval edge but still maintain the nice look and not to much modification?

Maybe do a hang on the back skimmer and a canister filter.

Do you have any recommendation on which one. I looked at rio nano skimmer and jebo 178?

I would just do water changes. I doubt those two skimmers will do much honestly.

I've been doing water changes and nitrates still at 20 any suggestions I'm feeding every 2 days also. Only one clown, what about increased waterflow?

wait your nitrates are still at 20 even after water changes?how many gallons do u take out also how much food are you feeding? do u have any corals too

Ya they seem to just stay put idk why. I have an open brain coral, some zoas ,button polyps ,and frog spawn, CUC. I feed every 2 days less than 1/4 of a cube of mysis. One cube has lasted me about 10-12 feedings.

feeding sounds good, try doing 2 water changes a week just till you get nitrates down. dont do a full water change just a bit of water twice a week.

+1 just do the water changes. I did 2g water changes every week and my fluvial edge was thriving. I had all kind of corals and a pair of clowns

I like the idea of using a canister on the tank. Then you could pack it with some medias to help with the buildup.
