Protein Skimmer Opinion

Has anyone used this shimmer (Aquarium Life Support Systems 44V Magnuam)?

I used an Aquarium Life Support Systems skimmer for awhile. It simply doesn't hold a candle to the other skimmers of the same price range. The pumps never lasted very long and keeping it dialed in to create optimal skimmate was like herding cats with a twig. I am not just saying this to trash Aquariums epuipment either as I do like several of their sump setups more than their competitions equally priced versions. Long story short you would probbly be better off with an ASM, Euroreef, or Vertex. Also I have seen quite a few very nice reasonably priced cone skimmers as of late (see vendors forums for more detail).
