Protruding?? On my fish's eye.

Hey just noticed this tonight. Don't know what it is.. Please help.

If you look closely on my fish's right eye, its like protruding. Looks like a clear worm or something. TIA

I did quick google because I have heard of it happening in freshwater fish and wasn't sure if it was common in SW. I think treatment will depend on if it was trauma or disease induced. I would say if you think it was trauma induced or others are bothering him/her put him in QT until you can sort. That could also apply if it is the result of infectious disease. I wish I could be more helpful. I would be hesitant to try and "medicate" without being told from someone here who knows.

if it looks like a cloudy smudge it's most likely flukes. my pbt had them and they were a NIGHTMARE to get rid of. i wound up doing 6 rounds of prazi pro and feeding metro on nori sheets. it took FOREVER

have you tried a freshwater dip?
