All hail the non-yellow, non-green P.Ciliata heh. Here's a shot of mine from a few weeks ago, she's about the same size as your actually (li'l over 2 inches):

She's molted since then and actually has gotten a bit darker, losing some of the pattern along her body and becoming this darker, almost blood-red color. She just killed the last fish in the tank, much to the dismay of my wife, who loves all animals and feels a bit guilty about that; she liked my mantis until it ate someone, heh.

P.Ciliata is real interesting, they really come in all colors :D

Ah awesomeness on the video :D I was bummed that when I first clicked on it, it said that the video wasn't available, heh...glad I tried again.

It's interesting that he changed so drastically from white to that dark burgundy color...I think mine is headed for that direction, too...I wonder if I got her brighter corals or something she'd start going in that direction; to be honest, I didn't think her burrow was a reddish color, but it might be the filtering of light through her eyes.

Again, thanks for posting ^_^ BTW, how many mantis tanks do you have? You always seem to pop up with new ones, hehe.

i have quite a few but nowhere near as many as i would like and should be hopefully getting some more next week. Good specimens are really good to comeby and i lost my favourite spearer for no apparant reason, that was a Raoulserenea sp..
My favourite is the female chiragra - there is a vid up of the male on the youtube.
He has gone that colour to match his pipe - the white specks are supposed to be sand i think and the hint of red is the cyno that has come and gone!
Thanks for the imput.
James
