Looking for the poeple who have had this type of fish
I am used to reef and reef safe fish
thank you

ya know im not sure I always wanted a puffer
will he get along with any larger reef safe fish as well
maybe a a snowflake eel to not sure i just dont want to put something in there anyone will kill
Obvisoully not a small fish or they are goners im sure

Passive Triggers(Blue Jaw, Niger (usually fine, except for a few onri individuals), Crosshatch (very expensive)), eels (Zebra Moray,
White-eye Moray, Whitemouth Moray (can become aggressive)), groupers and angels and many others:

I've kept a dogface with a niger trigger, humu trigger(who happened to have a very bad attitude), white-eye moray, whitemouth moray, and honeycomb grouper. Had no problems.

The only thing that I would worry about with either a Porcupine Puffer and Webb Burr Puffer (it doesn't seem to be a problem with the Dogface) is that these two puffers seem to have pectoral fins that appear very tasty to aggressive fish. Had my humu kill my Webb Burr Puffer, but totally ignore the Dogface

Oh, so that IS what you were referring to in that post. Yeah, I would not use it. It escapes me now as to what heavy metal is leached from the rock. But better safe than sorry.

I have a golden puffer that shares a tank with a unicorn tang and a harlequin tusk

I'm the owner. There's an article in the Library on feeding your puffer & another one on keeping marine puffers (mostly porcs) stickied in the Marine Puffer forum.
