if I put one of these in my reef to eat 2 camel shrimp that are in it- will it do the job?

Will I be able to catch it afterword? What other damage would it do?

thanks

they are eating my acans! I thought a buddy of mine had a small population of the in his tank and when i saw them at the lfs i got 2 and put them in. They are not reef safe and eat polyps....

No I don't have the puffer...

I don't think the puffer will bother coral so much, but getting it out might be a pain. Also puffer can be a bit risky to catch and transfer due to the stress of "puffing" and the harm that can come to them if they swallow air.

I don't think the puffer is a good idea. Too risky for the fish.
My shrimp used to swim up to my hand, and pick at my fingers. If they do that you could easily swipe them with a net. If that doesn't work the trap is a good idea.

I had seen that trap- anyone here use it?

Camel shrimp are shy & nocturnal. They are always hiding and you don't see them for days... they are not bold like a cleaner shrimp.

thanks
