Puffer, loin and a star

Hi Guys,

would this work our for my new 50G tank a Saddle Valentini Puffer, Dwarf/Zebra Lionfish and a Linckia Sea Star.

Yes, just make sure that the puffer is not small enough to fit in the lion's mouth.

I picked up my Saddle Valentini Puffer what other fish would go good with him besides a Dwarf/Zebra Lionfish?

I dont think any sea star is safe with a puffer.

Perhaps a green serpent sea star would be, then again they are known to eat fish and such....but I'm not sure if it would work out well even with a green serpent bc your fish would have to be signifigantly larger than this voracious starfish.

I got a Linckia Sea Star last night they are toxic most fish will not tuch them. I guess I will find out if this fish will eat it soon enough.

What other fish would go good with my Puffer in a 50G?

How long has the tank been set up for. Linka star should only go in a tank that has been set up and established for at least a year. They are usally hard to keep in a new tank. Just a thought.

I had one before never had any problem. My tank has been up for 10 Months.

How long did the star before last? They will survive for a while but will then starve to death over a few months if the tank is not established.

I had him for about 3-4 months then I got sand and a sandstar and sold him to a local reefer and he is stll alive and kicking.
