Pump/powerhead needed

I am looking for a pump/powerhead for cheap that I can hook up vinyl hose to so I can drain water off of the top of my pool cover. I'm not very worried about gph because I don't need it to drain at any particular rate, looks don't matter, just as long as it works

I use a 12 dollar pump from harbor freight. Been using it 2 years now this being the third winter for it. I wrap it with a sheet of filter material from petco and a zip tie so leaves don't jam it up. I think it is like 250 an hour. I have also left it run dry all night several times and it's still pumping like a champ.

you could just get a garden hose and use gravity to make a siphon, should get pretty much all the water off, i use this route on my parents pool cover.

Doesn't work if it's an inground pool...
