Pump question

hi all,

i have a 180 with 2 returns.. i would like to alternate the flow to provide some wave action..

recomend 2 pumps ie for example 2 iwaki 70's on timers or one pump with some kind of selenoid

Joe, i would switch the pumps on and off with a timer, its gonna hurt the pumps eventually,

maybe one pump with an Ocean motions unit??

im sure others will chime in though.

you could try the scwd split of into t's but i think the gph limit on them are about 900gph.

Here is the link to the SCWD website.

I think the Iwaki 70's will be pushing their upper limit. The manufacturer states 1400 gph as an upper limit.

I'd look into the Oceans Motions.
