Pump Upgrade 24g Nano Cube

If you were to upgrade a pump in a 24g nano cube.. from the stock 290gph pump... would you go up to what??

What brand does everyone suggest?

That's what I have in there now,... but it seems to be putting out too many bubbles into the water. Not sure why ?? any suggestions??
