I was wondering if anyone has used Quiet One Pumps? There on sale at this time for a good price and wanted to know if they are any good.

During my research several people where having problems with the pumps not restarting after loosing power. They'd have to mess with them to get them pumping again. Last week I ordered more expensive pumps, decide the possible problems wern't worth the savings.

Mag pumps tend to be loud as well, and add heat to your water. Check out the Eheim pumps, quiet, cool, low wattage and unbelievable reliability. They cost a little more, but well worth it. They can be run external or internal....

Mag: Cheap, reliable, compact, noisy, inefficient, poor performance under head loss, needs oversized plumbing for decent flow.

QO: Cheap, unreliable, not as quiet as the name would imply, also suffers under head loss

Eheim: Quiet, extremely reliable, efficient, great flow even with head loss, costs a little more.
