Pump

I'm looking for a 700+ GPH pump to hook up to a skimmer.

I want something quiet and cheap

I will probably end up going internal because I have limited external space and to save some money, but I would also like an external option.

btw an external pump would probably have between 2 and 3 feet head on it.

Hi,

If you need Internal, the MagDrive Model 700 works very well. It can run external as well, but have to be care with leaks. It can handle pressure very well. There is also a Mag950 if you want extra pressure, but depends on what kind of skimmer you are using, sometimes more pump doesn't give you better performance.
