Purely H2O (Orlando) or The Filter Guys?

I am looking for comments on both Purely H2O in Orlando and The Filter Guys. I want to get an RO/DI unit and was looking for feedback. Purely H2O looks like it may be a little cheaper than The Filter Guys.

Ive never dealt with Filter Guys but I know Purely h2o treated me well when I was in there and the refills I bought from them are quality, the unit I have may actually be from them to but i got it used and am not sure, they seemed to think it was one of their older models. From what ive read online you will be ok with either.

I have been using one of these for 3 years....so far no problems.

I have this one too, no problems

I also recommend the aquasafe. The filters are standard size so you can always upgrade them. The large DI canister I was told would work just fine turning it vertical and it would be equivalent to the others. (Was told by AWI).

That's exactly what I did too, turn the DI canister vertical flowing from bottom to top. Much more effective that way.

Horizontal is fine for the RO membrane. But for loose/bulk DI, horizontal allows the water to pass through channels without being exposed as much to the DI resin as well. Vertical makes channels much less easy to develop and tends cause the water to flow more evenly through the whole cross-section of the DI canister.

Some systems don't use bulk DI though, I think some systems use a DI "cartridge" in which case it may not be such a difference.
