For the octopus extreme 200 should I go with the small or large purple pinwheel? It is on my 75 gallon mixed reef with a 40 gallon frag tank soon to be added.

Everything I am reading says go for the large. check out the Octo extreme thread to see data on how much air they are pulling.

Also anybody know the amp draw on the pumps with the purple pinwheel I'm looking to add an on delay relay on it in the event of a power outage so as not to overflow the skimmer when the power kicks back on.

I don't have a killawatt meter but definitely get the large. The small is for a different application.

BTW, my 200 rocks with the large PPW. It pulls dry nasty foam.
