Purple poylp Birdsnest

Recently, after 2 years of saltwater tank and after my sps attempt 6 months ago failed I bought some sps and lps coral. See the photo of a frag taken towards the end of the day. I have a photon v2 12" off the tank at less than 50% at peak time. The green flesh is pale, the poylps are fairly purple however. Under blues only the newest growth glows green. wondering if this is bleaching? I gave them time on the sand bed when I introduced them then moved it it up to 12" below the surface in medium flow. It's been there for a month now and has been growing white tips well but seems dull in color.

7.3 alk, still working in dosing for kalk, losing about .2dkh a day. Just upped the dose. Goal is 8.5
Calcium is and has been high at 480-500, about to switch from Kent marine salt to rpm salt
Magnesium is 1430
pH 8.15
Nitrate 2.5
Lights start ramp at 10am and of off by 10pm.
Do have brown diatoms on sand and patches on Rock.
I have been carbon dosing and running gfo for months.

My candy cane went from 2 heads for a year to 7 heads within a month of setting up kalk and carbon dosing. New acan has two new heads already. Toadstool leather big and bushy. Did loose a new cyphastrea but perhaps to coral warfare. I have a purple (tip?) Digi as the second sps I tried at the same height and flow, it's so poylp dense I can't see if tissue below is translucent, I would call it a brownish purple.

Seems like a lighting intensity issue from when you moved it, or a nutrient issue from your new carbon dosing routine. I would suggest just feeding your fish a little more for now. That's the cheapest and easiest thing to do. If that fails, or algae becomes an issue, maybe look at lighting.

Looks like you may have Redbugs...Zoom in on second pic, Second branch from left as well as pic 1.

That's why I said may, Looks like some kind of pest. The Blackish dots next to the polyps. Maybe some kind of flatworm, Pics are kinda fuzzy or my eyes are lol.

Think that's just a retracted polyp. My BN would show black dots like that and if I recall it was just a retracted polyp.

I reduced light intensity a few percent at peak and knocked an hour of the total on period. Also, not that something could slip through the cracks or was dormant but I did Bayer dip on all these new corals. Also I reduced the carbon dosing to the lowest setting on the dosing pump. My salifert kit shows 2-5 ppm nitrate by my eyes. The only algea in the display I get is glass film. I still have tiny patches of red cyano here and there and streaks of brown on the sand but it's gotten better I think. I see a light bit of green on the birdsnest tips but it's mostly translucent still. Also started dosing coral colors weekly.
