Purple Ribbon Gorogonianl

I have been in the reef aquarium store yesterday and i sea Purple Ribbon Gonipora. The problem was that it lose the tissue, i sea that when i try to move the Gorogonia a clear skin fall from the coral.Is this normal? Can i buy it?

My toadstool does that evry now and then. It almost appears to be shredding its skin, which would explain why it is about three times the size as when i bought it!

Can't help you on this coral specifically, but my guess would be that nothing is wrong with it, on the contrary... its growing!

If it is a clear skin, then it is normal; they do them every once in awhile to remove algae growth on their surface. If it is the purple that is coming off though, it's probably on its way out...
