I bought some purple shrooms on April 6th, they are sitting on the bottom of the tank semi shaded, I haven't replaced my daylight bulbs in 8 months, water parameters are all fine except alkalinity was low -- 6. I have dosed for alkalinity in my top off water, and they still won't open. Everything else is wide open -- ricordia, green edged blasto -- the oculina doesn't like low alkalinity but it is starting to be happier. How long does it take to get the purple to come out and are they especially sensitive to the alk being too low?
