I'd consider this one of the easier SPS to keep. Can be placed in multiple areas, adapt to high and low flow rates and can handle either high or medium light. If you put it up higher in your tank, start it off on the bottom and work your way up. The best indicator of health would be the polyps, if the polyps are out its happy, if you lose polyp extension, try moving it until its happy again. Nice looking piece

Forgot to mention my SG before, it is 1.025.
Do all of the parameters I have listed so far look good?

How does my photo-period seem?

For the photo-period, I am currently running on the Apex's season table for Sun and Moon -- but pushed back by 5 Hrs - with 3 Hr ramps from off to 40% for sunrise and 40% to off for sunset.

As an example, today's photo-period was
Sunrise --ramp up from 0% to 40% -- from 11:54A to 2:54P.
Midday -- 40% -- from 2:54P to 9:29P,
Sunset -- ramp down from 40% to 0% -- from 9:29P to 12:29A.
Moonlights set on but not lit due to sunlights being on from 4:01P - 12:29A
Moonlights on from 12:29A to 4:01A.

Thanks,

I was thinking of running GFO, would be that the way to go to get the po4 down?
I use 75GPD RO/DI with all filters changed last month for my water source, however some of the po4 is getting through. My RO/DI measures 0.10 right from the unit.
I have a ~0.40 - 0.50 po4 water source at my home according to the Hanna checker.

Is this normal?

I noticed this around where the Montipora attaches to the frag plug two days ago. I finally able to get a reasonable photo of it this morning -- with my friends camera, and wanted to get some input.

This is a lights out -- long exposure photo ISO400 30seconds f/5.6 taken from the bottom and angled upward.
The streaks are scratches on the glass.
