Purple Up--any Side Effects???

Can anyone who uses Purple Up--assist me in answering this question--it seems that when I use this product my tank gets bubbly at the top--is there is a side effect--are there any side effects?

i use it on my 3 gal tank and it works realy good. I have never had a problem with it and i have used it for a year hope that helps you.
