Putting glass canopy on. Problems? Light?

Due to family illness I need to get my humidty down in our home fast. Running dehumdifier and bathroom fan in room in the next room has not done enough to lower the humidity. I was having gallons (3-4) evaporate from my 125 tank and another 1-2 gallons from my 75 tank.

So I am getting glass canopys for them. I am also going to covert my 125 to a FOWLR with soft coral so I dont need as much light, so heat is not as much an issue with a glass canopy.

For now I am just going to be running (two) 2x36'' (78watts) T-5 over the tank. I will had add a led strip like a Truelumen or another row of T-5's.

Any problems running this much ight over glass lids?

should be ok. Just be sure to clean the glass often as salt creep can get etched into the glass. eventually you'll have to buy new tops again because they will get etched with the salt.
