I have been doing the salt water reef aquarium for almost two years now , maybe longer, time flies when you're having fun
I recently moved from south fl to Gainesville and haven't been on the forum in quite a while but had a serious hiccup in my tank today and am hoping for some help.
Tank specs:
12 gallon nano- cube "“ dx
50/50 lights
All water para normal
Temp- 77.4 ( and remains close to constant though not as perfect as would like)
Fish- high fin goby, chalk bass, and a tiny blenny
Inverts- mostly soft corals, and some clean up crew ( four or five hermits and a couple snails)
My first question came today when I made a newbie mistake and was moving rock around my tank without as much caution as I should have. One of my small rocks was leaning up against the one I was working on and fell down in the sand landing momentarily on my high fin goby. Needless to say I was mortified. The goby appears to be fine; he is eating well, swimming, and appears to be breathing normally.
- What I want to know is, is there anything I can do proactively to help save his life?
- My other question is for the other Gainesvillian' s out there, I keep hearing about the Gainesville reef forum and would like to join it. Can anyone tell me the website for it?
Thank you very much in advance
