PVC Primer and Glue Question

I had a few drops of primer drip inside the pipe I was glueing. It will be in contact with water (in a few more days). Is this OK, or is this piece a re-do?

Secondly, As a refresher, I read the "PVC tutorial" which said "never use purple primer. (ugly), use white" Is this for real?....That's all Home Depot carries, and I've seen it in a hundred photos posted on Reef Central. What's up with that?

It will all be purple after the coralline takes over anyways. I use the purple with no ill effects.

dont worry about the primer. Your good. Well as long as it dont leak.

That's how I glue'm too....If it doesn't ooz purple, I havn't used enough!!!
