PVC purple primer

i am redoing the return on my sump and wondering if pvc purple primer is OK to use before i glue my pipes together. i normally use it when i do plumbing but wasn't sure if it was reef safe

Yes, it is (once it drys completely of course).

However, I've switched to using the Clear Primer as it just makes the finished job look so much nicer.
