QT and adding fish back to DT

So, I had an outbreak of ich in my DT and had to move all of my fish to QT to treat..... The 1st week in Jan will be 9 weeks fallow for the DT. however I did add some corals to the DT while the fish have been out, all the corals were dipped in coral RX, but is there a chance that ich could have hitchhiked on the corals? I know it can't survive without fish, is there a possibility, and should I go ahead and put the fish back in at the 9 week mark or wait to the 9 weeks since the last coral was added? Thanks for your help

I would wait until 9 weeks after the corals were added. You've already waited this long and why risk having to treat and wait for another 9 weeks?

Coral Rx does not kill ich cysts.

+1 I don't think you can be too paranoid when it comes to parasites.

Thanks that is what I was thinking, plus it's only 3 more weeks better to be safe than sorry....

yup, wait it out. I did the 9 week QT but added corals in the meantime. Guess what....ich was there.
