I've had two clowns and three banggai cardinals in qt for 5 weeks and all fish seemed ok untill last week before sandy, on friday last week i noticed one of the cardinals was not doing well, it was not able to swim and was breathing heavy and it died by mid day friday, it didnt have any visible signs of a problem, then after a loss of power and a temp drop of 8 degrees for 24 hours, one of the other cardinals was acting the same way and also died by mid day monday. The two cardinals that died were from a differant batch of fish then the one thats still alive.
NH4- 0
NO2- 0
NO3- 5-10
SG- 35ppt
the tank has had these parameters for the last couple weeks.
My Question is what should i do with the other fish. should i try and treat with meds or hypo or just leave them in qt for another 4 week.
