I currently have a 10g hospital tank that has been under hypo for a month today. In it, I have 2 fairy wrasses that had ich(but no more of course). Ive started raising the salinity today. i did a 100% water change and is at 1.011.

Ive been having trouble keeping the ammonia down. The fish were acting weird, i think the ammonia is burning their gills. i noticed there behavior last thursday night(i can post vids if you want). I have done 2 50% water changes between then and now and just did a 100%(as noted above^) I also put in "Prime". ammonia is still at .25.

any help? can the fish recover from this?

thanx

A complete water change is killing your biological filtration, which in turn prevents ammonia. What type of filtration does the tank have? Do smaller water changes so the bio filtration can keep up. Have the wrasses been in the q tank for the entire month? When did the ammonia start to show up?
