QT popped overnight

So looks like my QT sprung a leak last night somehow cheap pecto 10 gallon tank but I am out of tanks and no sales.

I have a yellow Eye Kole Tang in there since Saturday got it from a local hobbyist from an established tank. He is showing no signs of diseases should I just go ahead in put him in the Display Tank. Because I probably cannot get a new QT tank till this weekend if I can find a cheap tank.

You could use a large tote to hold him until u get another tank. I wouldn't use the leaking one any more than u really need too. 10g might not seem like a lot of water until its all on the floor.

So you think I should keep him QT still? I get a 5 gallon tank from a friend but i dunno if its going to be to small.

I would put him in the display personally.

Last time I looked 10 gallon tanks are $10 at Walmart all the time.

Are they really did not know. Yeah I think I am going to put him in the Display plus I think I want to get a bigger QT maybe a 20 when they go on sale again at pet supply or petco.

Well been a week and I was never able to get another 20 gallon so my yellow eyed kole tang been stuck in the 5 gallon. Well looks like he is getting sick he as HLLE and some kind minor of fin damage. Been reading that it lack of eating and stress and I should put him in the Main tank now since he not has shown and other symptoms and he should pull out of it. Any suggestions?

I would get him out of that 5 gallon asap. If it were me I would find a bigger qurantine tank to let him heal before putting him in the main tank though. Unfortunately all I have to offer you right now is a 100 gallon rubbermaid stock tank. If you want to borrow it let me know.

Yeah I know I'm kinda worried but looks like I'm going to bite the bullet and pop in the Main tank feed the fishes with some rich nutrient foods and hope he pulls out. I just feel like putting in another QT even wehn I get a 20l well just make it worse and there now way I could even afford to fill a 100 gallons of water lol.
