QT transfer

I had an outbreak of ich on a royal gramma, and I have decided to qt all 8 of my fish from a 55g to the 29g qt. Can all of the fish be transferred at approximately the same time, or should this be done in stages?

I don't see much benefit in delaying the transfer. Even if you have a mature filter in the QT I suspect your going to be doing water changes to maintain water quality.

Unless your fish are very small I would be concerned about the size of your QT. You might consider spreading your fish out between two tanks .... should be able to pick up a 10 gallon tank and cheap filter for about $20.

Remember to Qt all the fish and leave you ST without fish for approximately 5 weeks .. that should insure any ich within the ST will die off.
