Quarantine Chaeto?

I know this may sound absurd, but should I quarantine my chaeto? I've heard that you should quarantine anything and everything wet. I'm concerned about any ich that may be transferred to my tank via the chaeto. Is there anything I can do to the chaeto that would eradicate any ich without killing the chaeto? Could I boil the chaeto or let it dry for a day or so?
Is there anywhere online I can order chaeto where I wouldnt have to worry about ich contamination from other fish that may be housed with the chaeto?

Thanks,
Gary

Hyposalinity will kill ich and many other organisms which may be found in the cheato. Not sure how the cheato would react to freshwater bath. You could try a small piece to see. You'll probably want to give the freshwater treated piece a week or so after the treatment to see how it reacts.

I would just QT it for a month and watch for any bad guys. Red flatworms in particular.
