just got the qt tank set up under my new 125 stand and the question is how long to qt new fish my lfs just got me an atlantic blue tang i heard 2 weeks to play it safe whats your opion and what works for you never had a qt tank before always just put them in the display tank and had a lot of problems

At least 2 weeks with no problems. Longer is better if you can swing it. I shoot for at least a month.

4 weeks is what I do. If you have an outbreak of anything you need to reset the clock and go another 4 weeks.
