im brand new in reef keeping and just getting started. im getting really into sps corals. i've read that queen angels are not reef safe and others have said that they are but be cautious. can a queen angel be kept in a 125 gallon tank with sps corals?

[welcome]

it is all up to the fish, some will be fine with SPS and others will go to town. sometimes they will be fine for a while then all of the sudden wreck havack on the corals.

I honestly don't know about their compatibility with sps corals but I thought I should mention that they get almost 45 cm. long which to me would be a little on the large end for a 125 depending how mush room you leave in it.

I wouldn't do it, but if you're feeling adventurous I'd start out w/ a tiny juvi. That's probably your best bet.

Queen angels are terrific fish. they are, however, not reef safe. This fish may be a bit large for your size tank.
