Queen Angel with red wounds

I have a 7" Queen angel that I belive had been battling flukes. It is now in QT. Anyway, it has developed a bunch or red wounds on its body. Oddly enough they are all on one side. Anyway expirence this? I have him in antibiotic now.

Try researching septicemia and possible treatments are Maracyn2, Furan2, or Erythromycin.

I would probably try Furan2 since its effective against Gram + and Gram - bacteria, while Maracyn2 is only Gram - bacteria.

I've had it on a blue throat trigger before and he died. i didnt know anythign about medicating fish at the time and just left it as is. he only lived maybe a week after the red marks showed up.

Sounds like a secondary bacterial infection. If you are treating with antibiotics then that's all you can really do for him. Hopefully he recovers.
