Queen with Problem

My Queen has two distinct raised spots on it's side. I can't figure out what they are. It's under the scales pushing out, and there is a little white mucus coming from one. The fish is eating, and acting fine. Any ideas? Thanks

Cant help you with the spots, I'm sure one of the experts will be along shortly. I have a question for you though. I have a fish that looks exactly like yours and my LFS sold it to me as a blue (isabelita). The Queen is a ciliaris. I kinda thought mine was a queen all along but didnt want to argue with the so-called expert. ARe you sure yours is a Queen ? Thanks :)

Billybeau1, I would question an "expert" that would sell you a queen or any large angle for a 72 ;) I love those fish! Hope someone can give you a answer Sicklid, what a nice fish.

Yes Angela, I agree. He knows I buy em small, enjoy them for awhile and then trade them in when they outgrow the tank. I knew when I bought her that I could only keep her for a year or so.

Come on guys and gals. Help this guy out. He's provided a nice picture for us to diagnose. I've seen this before but cant remember what it was. :)

:) I am sooo tempted at times to get one for my 80 but would get to attached. I bet someone will chime in tonight with a good diagnosis.

Thanks guys for the optimism. Thanks to Kelly(Puffer Queen) for helping me. It seems to be a bacterial infection. I will treat it as such.

Thanks again,

Tom
