Question about Acrylic tank

Hi guys i am writing because i am going back to te hobby after 3 years. I am planing in mount an acrylic tank of 220x80x80 cm. The business i consulted recomended to me 20 mm of thickness and is it enough and safe?

No its not..
For a rimmed tank (eurobraced,etc...) you need 1.25 inch (32mm maybe.. not sure what the metric cross is)

If rimless I think you need closer to 2" thick..
Thats a long/tall tank..
20mm is not going to be "enough" nor "safe"

They told me 20mm rimless tank.... tank you for the reply . The most important for me is the tank is going to be safe. In my country people use glass always so acrylic tank its hard to see. I was planing about innovate with the acrylic but maybe i should do as always with glass and rimm.
