Question about GHL PII

Are they fully controllable via PC? Also is there a way to control equipment via the internet? I could not find the answer anwhere. Thanks for your time.

yes you can connect to the PII with a serial port to any PC... if you dont have one you can get a USB to Serial converter (for less then 20$)....

I've heard you need the cable from GHL. But the P2 comes with the cable.
They have great PC software to control the P2.

You can use a PC to control the Profilux II in a couple of ways...

#1 - Connect the Profilux to your PC via the supplied RS232 Cable (Standard Serial Cable)
#2 - Add a LAN/WLAN card and connect to your Profilux via the same software over TCPIP
#3 - Add a USB card and connect your Profilux to your PC via USB

With any of these methods you can connect to your Profilux remotely. If you have some sort of Remote Control Software running on your PC (Windows XP Pro, Windows Vista Ultimate or Corp, or Windows 7 Ultimate or Corp have this functionality built in, its called Remote Desktop and only requires one port on a router to be opened) then you can connect over the internet to your computer and control it from there.

A Profilux 3 has more remote access functions built in such as a built in webserver, or you could connect in the same manner as I detailed above.
